
Francesc Guillamet has recently published the book Comer arte (Eating art), which includes their 17 years of experience as a photographer for El Bulli, with over 100,000 shots in raising Ferrán Adrià's cuisine at the level of art.
Eating Art shows in the first hand Guillamet, a close associate of some 1,500 Ferran Adrià dishes of El Bulli. Visual surprises, shapes, textures, compositions and colors, surreal and abstract meanings that distort the senses in a manner similar to that Adriá used for smell and taste.
Algae, a mosaic of crocanti pipe pumpkin and chocolate, mango and a disc of virgin olive, leather greaves espardenyes, pellet ice of sangria, an iced piruleta asparagus and black truffle and the other beets, horseradish and yoghurt are some of the "art" that lies at its Guillamet photographic canvas.
Following the publication of Eat Art, Guillamet preparing a book of black and white landscapes on the territory of the French sculptor Aristides Mallol. Moreover, in addition to Ruzafa Show Ediciones, the publisher who frequently collaborates, is preparing a book called The Path of sweet.
