Calendar Larios 12

Apart from the retrospective use of the almanac over the last decades, the renowned gin brand toasts the most evocative images of Spanish fashion: actresses, models, photographers, designers... 12 of each, three for each season, but all of them are VIPs.
This is the Calendario Larios 12. Exceptional models such as Carmen Jordá, Blanca Suárez, Kira Miró, and Blanca Romero pose with professionals such as Marina Jamieson, Carla Crombie, and Teresa Baca, together with outstanding photographers such as Juan Albadetrecu, Esmeralda Martín, Nacho Pinedo, and Jonathan Miller, in a work with a blue leitmotiv in settings such as the Puente de Triana in Sevilla, the cutting-edge Marbella Club Hotel Golf & Resort, or the incomparable city of Valencia.
Mythical and emblematic spaces are the background for portraits of wild, intriguing, funny and sensual women through the work of designers such as David Delfín, Juanjo Oliva, José Castro, and el baño de Aurelia. There is a place for men, too, and for the last two years, a masculine figure appears in the calendar. In 2010, the young and sexy actor Martín Rivas hangs up his uniform of the El Internado and dresses in a Antonio Miró creation.
This year, the Valencian participation in Valencia Fashion Week is significant with designers Álex Vidal Jr. and Ion Fiz, photographer Esmeralda Martín, and models Elena Santamatilde, Robert Pinter, Lourdes Coterón and Alejandro Rodríguez as the new top models.
The Calendario Larios was presented in a top-secret party, coinciding with the Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week, which ended up in a central Madrid parking space with a crowd of celebrities gathered in the party of the year. In Valencia, architect Francisco Reyes’ loft was the venue for this cool party, surrounded by Rothkos, Sauras and Makos, and Empire-period antiquities.
Last year, an accredited voice asked if there was life after the catwalk which is like asking if one can live drinking only water. From what we can see, we are not amoeba and life is as rich within the catwalk as it is outside of it, perhaps more so. Projects such as that of the Larios brand prove it, extending and ennobling its entity as a mass or elite phenomenon, but always with the intelligence to make the most of an attitude: Globally and NIL transform everything they manage into a fashion moment.
