On Monday, September 22, the new EMT bus route number 64 'Benicalap-Parc Central' began operations. Using biodiesel vehicles, and with 36 stops over 10.45 kilometres, the route links up various city neighbourhoods such as Cam-panar, Botànic, Petxina, Pilar, Ciutat Artista Faller and Tormos, increasing the number of connections between various important points such as the Hospital La Fe, MuVIM and the Jardín Botánico. An estimated 765.000 bus riders will use the 64 line in a year.
The route is (in the direction of Parque Central) Av. Juan XXIII, Av. Dr. Peset Aleixandre, Av. General Avilés, Av. Pío XII, Puente de Ademuz, G.V. Fernando el Católico, Pl. España, G.V. Ramón y Cajal.
