The Sala Parpalló presents an original exhibition on the basic and symbolic object of the bed. Through works by artists such as Miguel Borrego, Louise Bourgeois, Manuel Bouzo, Montserrat Soto, Antoni Tàpies and Darío Villalba among others, the bed, transformed into an almost ritual object, becomes an icon of individual and collective lives, such as birth and death, sex, illness, dreams, love and reflection. The exhibition invites the viewer to take another look at an object that is seen a hundred times a day in order to recognise the most transcendent moments of our history.
